Death: Mar. 23, 1865

His wife: Rebecca Rebecca Aycock Mozley; daughter of JOHN AYCOCK and SELINA DOSS. She was born July 15, 1837 in Newton Co., GA, and died June 16, 1922 in Milford, Ellis Co., TX.

He was in the Confederate Army, Co. K, 41st Regt., Ga. Inf. called the Salt Springs Guards. Samuel died of smallpox while a prisoner of war during the civil war.

He is the brother of Glenn Owen Mozley.
