HENRY J. BRUNS
Henry J. Bruns, 74, of 1018 Fremont St., Kiel, died Tuesday evening at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital after having been admitted earlier in the day.
Born Oct. 10, 1891, in New Holstein, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bruns, he was married to Mable Bub of the Town of Schleswig on June 24, 1924.
They resided in Sheboygan for a few years before moving to Kiel where he operated a meat market for a number of years. Prior to his retirement in 1956 he was employed at the A. A. Laun Furniture Co.
Mr. Bruns was a veteran of World War I, serving part of the time in Germany. He was an organizer and a member of Kasper-Beckley-Wilkins American Legion Post at Kiel.His wife died in January, 1960.
Survivors are a daughter, three sons, 12 grandchildren; and one brother, Adolph Bruns of New Holstein. (Survivors edited for privacy)
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Peter's United Church of Christ at Kiel with the Rev. Vernon E. Jaberg, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
