Carrie Madeline Sours, 89, of Stephenson, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, in Harrisonburg.
Mrs. Sours was born Sept. 29, 1918, in Stanley, the daughter of James Ernest and Artie Lessie Nauman Mayes. She was retired from Battletown Inn in Berryville.
She attended Winchester Church of God and First Assembly of God in Winchester.
She was married to Claude Benton Sours, who died Dec. 7, 1988.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Poston of Stephenson and Anna Rinker of Inwood, W.Va.; two sons, Robert Sours and Douglas Sours, both of Winchester; two grandsons; and a great-grandson.
Three brothers, four sisters, and a grandchild are deceased.
