Fred A. Lykins, 64
Fred A Lykins,64, of Winchester and with a brother and sister residing in Bluffton, died late Saturday evening at Ball Memorial Hospital in Munice following an extended illness.
He retired in 1990 from Overmyer Mold Corp., where he had worked 37 years.
He was born in Jay County on Nov.22,1934 to Arch and Pearl "Ludy" Lykins. His marriage on April 18, 1953 was to Phyllis "Creamer" , who survives.
Surviving also are a son, Jack D. of Portland; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Robin E.) Dykes of Winchester, two brothers, Robert of Portland and Jim of Bluffton; two sisters, Mary Osborne of Munice and Sarah Shafter of Bluffton; eight grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 A.M. Wednesday at the Portland Chapel of Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Brumfield officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery southeast of Portland.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Tuesday 4 to 8 P.M.
Memorials to the Ball Memorial Hospital Kidney Foundation.

Grandpa, I miss you I am sitting here crying bc of my life and what it has become mostly good but still some bad.. I wish u was still alive for i could get a big hug and advice from u again.. y does life have to be so complicated lol..|
