GREENVILLE [Hunt Co.], Texas, April 13—Funeral services were held here for John Addison Alford, 72, retired lumber dealer and contractor, who died in a Greenville hospital. Burial was at Hico.

A native of Hico [Hamilton Co.], Alford moved to Greenville thirteen years ago. He was a member of the Central Christian Church, the WOW and the Modern Woodmen of America.

Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Amy Lois Alford, San Antonio, and Mrs. Lonnie Litchfield, Fort Worth; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Alford Nance and Mrs. W.A. Cox, Dallas, and Mrs. Essie Euhl, Pittsburgh, Pa.; two brothers, Alsey Alford, Loving, N.M., and Aaron Alford, Oklahoma, and two grandchildren.
