Rites Thursday For Local Man

Willie Ray Hutson, 73, of 720 South Sam Houston died Tuesday night at Medical Center Hospital after a seven month illness.

Hutson was a retired tester having spent 20 years employed by Katty Casting Co.

Services will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home chapel with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Hutson, born Sept. 24, 1902, in Nacogdoches, was married June 3, 1924 to Cletis Lowery in Nacogdoches.

The couple moved to Odessa in 1954. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Lowery Hutson of 1215 West 19th; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Lucas of 413 Zeneta, and LaVerne Wisner of Nederland; three brothers, Emory Hutson of Nacogdoches, Allen Hutson of Buna, and Guy Hutson of Freeport; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Jenkins of Carthage; eight
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
