Margaret Catherine Amelia Mickley Pitzer was married twice, 1st husband being Charles Pitzer, of which there were two children, Cletus Emanuel and Charles Harvey Pitzer.
Mrs Margaret Catherine Amelia Mickley Pitzer, wife of David L. Pitzer, died Sunday morning at 3:15 o'clock at her home near Bonneauville. Death was due to a complication of diseases. She was aged 69 years. Mrs Pitzer was a daughter of the late Jacob and Annie Arentz Mickley. Surviving are her husband; seven children, Cletus Pitzer, Gettysburg; Nevin Pitzer, near New Oxford; Mrs. Ivan Sentz, at home; Mrs Clair Snyder, White Hall; Mrs. Simon Beard, Hanover; Mrs. Curvin Sentz and Mrs. Harry Good, Littlestown; thirty-two grandchildren, and six sisters, Mrs. Jane Henry and Mrs. Rebecca Font, Orrtanna; Mrs. Emma Shellman, Heidlersburg; Mrs Ella Burford, Monmouth, Ill.; Mrs. Minnie Delmire, York, and Mrs. Lily Miller, Waynesboro. She was a life-long member of St. Luke's church and was also a member of the Ladies' Aid Society of that church. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon, meeting at the home at 1 o'clock. Further services will be conducted in St. Luke's church, near Bonneauville. The Rev. J.M. Myers, pastor of the Lutheran congregation, will officiate. Burial will be made in Evergreen cemetery, Gettysburg.
