Syracuse, May 2-Josiah Chubb, ninety-three-years old, and for more than half a century a well-known farmer of Oswego county died last evening at the apartments of his duaghter, Mrs. Frances Delant, No. 322 East Fayette Street. He had been making his home with Mrs. Delant for about a year, and for five weeks had been confined to his bed. Mr. Chubb was one of the early settlers in Oswego County, near Fulton. He retired several years ago and had been living with his children.
Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Barnhart, of Fulton and Mrs. Delant, of this city, and one son, Wallace Chubb, of Fulton.
