Mrs. J.E. Suddeth

Mrs. Joicie E. Suddeth, 52, wife of S.B. Suddeth, died at a local hospital yesterday afternoon at 3:50 o'clock.

In recent months she had living with the family of her daughter, Mrs. D.B. Rigdon, 3 Fourth street, Poe Mill. She resided with her family in Glassy Mountain township for six years and prior to that time her home was in the Monaghan community for a period of twenty five years. Mrs. Suddeth was born in Highland township and was a daughter of the late R.E. and Ella Crain Suddeth.

She was a member of the Monaghan Baptist church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. D.B. Rigdon, Mrs. Quinton, and Miss Joicie Rebecca Suddeth; four sons, Wilton, Roy and Harold Suddeth and Sgt. John Suddeth; two sisters, Mrs. Lola Williams and Mrs. G.C. Stephens; three brothers, H.P. Suddeth, A.W.
Suddeth and W.A. Suddeth. Seven grandchildren also survive.

Funeral plans are incomplete and further announcements will be made by Thomas McAfee Funeral home.
