Harriet was my husband's 2nd great-grandaunt.
She was 6th of 10 children born to Elisha Bennett & Harriet CARPENTER Bennett.
She was married to William Hoyt Eckels on May 18, 1856.
Their children were:
Charles Irvin & Minerva Isabel Eckels.
After her first husband's death, Harriet married Roderick Palmer.

Mrs. Harriet A. Palmer, a former resident of Buena Vista, died at 9:30 Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.R. Johnson, in Wausau.
The deceased was born in Orwell, Oswego County, NY, September 18, 1835, and at an early date came to Buena Vista, where she lived until ten years ago, when she went to live with her daughter in Wausau.
The late Mrs. Palmer is survived by her daugther, Mrs. Johnson, a son, C.I. Eckels of Buena Vista, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Johnson at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The body was brought to Plover for internment.
