Hulda Remboldt, 91, Jamestown, died Friday, May 9, 2003, at Central Dakota Village, Jamestown.

Hulda Sprecher was born Aug. 2, 1911, on the family farm home 15 miles north of Hebron, N.D., the daughter of Jacob and Friedricka (Hagelon) Sprecher. She grew up in the area and attended the local rural school where she received her elementary education. She married Albert Remboldt on Jan. 5, 1931, in Jamestown. They lived on a farm northeast of Gackle, N.D., until 1937, when they moved into Gackle. She owned and operated a grocery store and cafe. He died July 8, 1986. She continued to live in Gackle and later entered Central Dakota Village.

She attended Seventh-day Adventist Church, Jamestown.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Eva Remboldt, Boring, Ore., and Ruth Netz, Morgan, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and seven sisters.

Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Haut Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with the Rev. Bryce Tahran officiating.
Visitation: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Haut Funeral Home, Jamestown. Burial: Gackle Cemetery, Gackle.
