Christine Remboldt, 86, Fargo, died Thursday, April 20, 2000, at her home.
Christine Dorr was born Jan. 8, 1914, at Streeter, N.D., the daughter of Jacob and Christina (Kranzler) Dorr. She received her elementary education in the local rural school and grew up in the vicinity, where she helped on the family farm.
She married Oscar Remboldt June 1, 1933, at Napoleon, N.D. They lived and farmed two miles east of Gackle, N.D. In 1948 they moved to Gackle, where they went into partnership with Ted Speidel and opened the Gackle Packing Plant. They operated the packing plant until they retired in 1983. In October 1990 they moved to Fargo. He died Jan. 20, 1991.
She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Fargo, and was active in church activities.
She is survived by two daughters, Roseta (Herman) Gold, Napa, Calif., and Suzetta Remboldt, Fargo; a son, Delano "Bud" (Carole), Edina, Minn.; a daughter-in-law, Sheila Remboldt, Bismarck; a brother, Raymond (Mary), Worland, Wyo.; two sisters, Marie Meidinger, Jamestown, and Alice Greenfield, Basin, Wyo.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Dwight "Chuck"; and an infant daughter, Kristie.
Services: 1 p.m. Monday, April 24, Haut Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with the Rev. Marty Thurber officiating.

Burial: Gackle City Cemetery, Gackle.
