He was born in Augusta County, March 11, 1917, a son of the late George W. and Annie S. Strange Truslow.
He served with the U. S. Army during World War II and was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church. He retired in March and returned to Staunton to live with his sister, Mrs. Bessie T. Andrews.
Surviving are two sons, William W. Truslow of Glen Burnie, Md., and George E. Truslow of Lansdowne, Md.; three daughters, Mrs. Doris T. Zachery of Glen Burnie, Md., Mrs. Joann T. Owens of Rosedale, Md., and Mrs. Deborah T. Strickland of Pasadena, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie T. Andrews of Route 4, Staunton, and Mrs. Hattie T. Wiseman of Mt. Solon; one brother, George W. Truslow of Stuarts Draft; and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Olivet Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. L. Eugene Jordan. Interment will be in Lyndhurst Methodist Church Cemetery.
