MRS. DOROTHY MAE BAINES DINGLE, the beloved and devoted wife of Mr. Charles O. Dingle Sr., was suddenly called into GOD'S Heavenly Home on Saturday, December 5, 1998 at 10:12 A.M.
Dorothy was born on November 5, 1934, the oldest of thirteen children from the union of the late Jake Sr. and Maggie Baines. Dorothy was reared in a Christian Home and she learned to serve the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age. Dorothy received her education at Williamson High School in Lucama, North Carolina.
On February 21,1952 in Dillion, South Carolina Dorothy and Charles were united in Holy Matrimony. Their union was blessed with six children, of which one son Griffin Dingle Sr. and one grandson Charles O. Dingle Jr.III preceded Dorothy into death.
Dorothy attended the First Mount Olive Freewill Baptist Church of Baltimore, Maryland. Dorothy served on the Usher Broad, the Flowers Committee Broad and the Kitchen Committee as a Senior Cook for many of years, until her health began to fail.
Dorothy was a loving devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Dorothy was a wonderful Home Maker and a great care taker for her family. Dorothy loved to cook home made meals for her family and friends. Dorothy loved to remodel and up keep the family home. Dorothy loved to shop and travel with her husband, children, grandchildren great grandchildren and friends. Dorothy gave her unconditional love to her family, friends and neighbors. Dorothy always had a bright smile on her face, words of comfort, or a listening ear for those in need. Dorothy was indeed a warm, loving, caring and compassionate person whom always shared whatever she had with family, friends and anyone that needed her help. Dorothy was a very humble women and lived a respectful life and Dorothy will be sincerely missed by all who loved and knew her.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her loving memories: her husband~ Charles Otis Dingle Sr.; three daughters: Mrs. Evon Cannon, Evette and Rochelle Dingle; two sons: Charles Otis Dingle Jr. and Cornelius Duran Dingle Sr.; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law; one grandson-in-law; five brothers; five sisters; one god daughter~Lynn Baltimore and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and others relatives and friends.
