*PLUM HOLLENBECK FUNERAL MONDAY*

Funeral services for Plummer Emmet Hollenbeck, 44, Trout Lake, were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5 at Gardner's Chapel, White Salmon. Preston Smith, pastor of the local Seventh-day Adventist church,officiated. Casket bearers were Albert Portner, Jay Robbins, Douglas Callif, James Patrick, Howard Shum and George Bradley. Burial service was at 2 p.m. Monday in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.

Plummer Hollenbeck was born July 22, 1916 Bolville, Idaho, the son of Sarah Adeline and Auda Emmett Hollenbeck. He lived in Trout Lake Valley most of his life. During World War II (Sept. 1943 – Jan. 1946) he served with 969th Army Engineers.

On Oct. 14, 1958 he was married to Irene Phillips at Stevenson. He died Tuesday, Nov. 29, at his Trout Lake home. Mr. Hollenbeck is survived by his widow Irene, Trout Lake star route, White Salmon; mother, Mrs. Sarah Hollenbeck and sister, Genevieve Holman of Temple City, Calif.; brothers Harold of Trout Lake and Frank of White Salmon; and daughter, Rose Marie Clark of Salem, Oregon.
