Missouri Marriage Records, 1805-2002
Name: Harrison Weldon
Marriage Date: 21 Jan 1840
Marriage County: Livingston
Spouse Name: Nancy Hatfield

then I found this at ancestry as well as the above while looking at the document I checked the date, and it was 1840m not 1850. But it gave me a first name did not have. So he must have chosen to use his middle name. There was an error with the name written. I have found this man as Jim Harrison, and on a tree as Harrison Jackson.

I was sent this via e-mail and did not find any place in this memorial that had the exact wording to indicate those words on here. I read and do agree that is what the document said. It was just noted by me that he was indexed by Jim also in the marriages, and it may have meant he went by the nick name of Jim. Also this names are correct on the memorial and the name of Jim is not even listed there as a nick name. This was not noted because it was thought he did Jim, but for other reasons. I can read the "did join" too.

Hi - The marriage license says "This is to certify that I Thomas Thompson, a Preacher of the Gospel did join Harrison, Weldon and Miss Nancy Hatfield in the marriage covenant on the 21st day of January, in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty. Given under my hand this 4th day of March A. D. 1840. Thomas, Thompson, G. P." Note "did join" not "did Jim Harrison Weldon".
