Funeral services for William Lyman Harper, 75, of Crowville were held at 2 p.m., March 20 in the Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Interment was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery with Rev. Bill McCutcheon officiating.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro and a 50 year Master Mason of Navel Lodge No. 24 F&AM of Warrington, Fla.

He was a retired Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ophelia Watson Harper, Crowville; three brothers, R. D. Harper, J. A. Harper, both of Crowville and E. C. Harper, West Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. W. A. Dunn, West Monroe, Mrs. E. J. Street, Crowville and Miss Alma Harper, Winnsboro.

Pallbearers were Roy Donnell, Miller Watson, Joel Street, William C. Street, James H. Street and Dr. George Sartor.

Honorary pallbearers were Charles Cordill, Freisen Smith, Lynn Parker, Landis Parker,
Harvey Kelly, Chester Strahan and Eugene Benoit.
