BRIGHAM CITY - Funeral services for Ransom Cutler, 78, of Corinne, will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the Corinne L.D.S. Chapel by Bishop Lafayette Nelson. Friends may call at the home of S. B. Bradford in Corinne tonight and tomorrow prior to services. Burial will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
Mr. Cutler, veteran farmer, died Monday at 11:10 a.m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Minnie Bradford, after a two-month illness.
He was born on Aug. 28, 1865, at Round Valley, Millard County, a son of Mason and Margaret Reed Thomas Cutler. He spent most of his early life in North Ogden.
He married Emily Cope Smith on Dec. 3, 1885, in Salt Lake City, where the couple lived until 1901. They moved to Corinne shortly after, and had resided here since. Mrs. Cutler died eight years ago.
Mr. Cutler was a member of the L.D.S. Church.
He is survived by two sons, J.R. Cutler and Henry Cutler, both of Corinne; four daughters, Mrs. Bradford, Mrs. Margaret Hatch and Mrs. Lillie Stoll, all of Corinne, and Mrs. Ida Leduce of Modesto, Calif.; a foster son, Thomas Smith of Salt Lake, and a foster daughter, Mrs. Emily Hewlett of Brigham City; a brother, Joseph Cutler of Rigby, Ida., and a sister, Mrs. Lillie Anderson, also of Rigby; 32 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
