MANCHESTER -- Ralph N. Chase, 88, formerly of Fernand St., died April 10, 2009, at the Bedford Hills Health Care, Bedford.
He was born in Concord on March 3, 1921, the son of Harold and Edwina (Schneider) Chase. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Air Corps.
Prior to retirement, he was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was also a New England Patriots fan for many years.
The family includes his wife, Virginia (Wilde) Chase of Bedford; and three sons, Brian Chase of Manchester, Scott Chase of Bedford and Alan B. Chase of Dover.
IN HIS LIFE: The family also includes two grandsons, Ryan Chase and Robert Chase; and four great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours.
The funeral is at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Pine Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, 765 Brown Ave.
