Son of Jerome and Lydia A. (Young) Lapham. He married Clara Jane Roost, Aug. 19, 1897, in Steuben Co., Ind.

William and Clara are the parents of Charles, Clifford, Florence, and Lester.

Note: Clifford and Florence are buried in the family plot, just to the right (north) of William and Clara.
