Dixie Kemmerlin Stewart, of North Charleston, entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of April 15, 2009.

She was a daughter of James F. Kemmerlin and Mary Ella Burke Kemmerlin.

Mrs. Stewart was a member of Doorway Baptist Church. She was a retired Dietician with Goodwin Elementary School and Garrett High School. Dixie was a member of Happy Hearts Club for 44 years.

She was the widow of Ralph E. Stewart, Sr. and surviving are her son, Ralph E. Stewart, Jr. of Denver, NC, two daughters, Mary Ackerman of St. George, Brenda Cooper of North Charleston; two sisters, Sarah Brant and Billie Ruth Heckle both of Orangeburg; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Interment was in Four Holes Baptist Church Cemetery, Cameron.
