Wendell Ransom, age 81, passed away March 16, 2002 in Salt Lake City, UT.
He was born March 14, 1921 in Blackfoot, ID to William Austin Ransom and Emma Laura Hill. He married Vernessa Skinner Nov 25, 1953 in Idaho Falls, ID. He is a member of the LDS Church. He was a loving hus-band, father, brother, and grandfather. He was dedicated to his religion, he was a temple worker at the Salt Lake Temple and he was involved in genealogical research most of his life. He worked at Sperry Univac. We all will miss him very much.

He is survived by his wife, Vernessa; children, Garth, Wendy, Barbara, David; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and siblings, Elma, Donna, Leon. He is preceded in death by son, Robert; a baby daughter; siblings, Willa, Vee, Laurel, Jim; his father, William Austin Ransom; and mother, Emma Laura Hill.
Services will be March 20, 2002, 12 noon, Canyon Rim Stake Center, Canyon Rim 3rd Ward, 3051 S. 2900 E. Family will receive friends at a viewing March 19, 2002, 6-8 p.m., Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Dr, and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Elysian Gardens, 1075 E. 4590 S.
