Delmar was the son of George Earl & Emma Josephine Peterson Fenn. He was born in Utah in Sept of 1919. His family lived in Utah for the next seven years moving to Idaho in 1926.

He enlisted on Feb 17,1942 in Twin Falls, Idaho
He had a wife and child who survived him and were living in Calif.

He was critically wounded while fighting with the Marines on the Island of Maroata in the South Pacific.
He was transported to the Naval Base Hospital in Wellington New Zeland where he died of his wounds.

His body was returned to the United States on Nov 1, 1947
