EDWIN A. BAKER, 75, South Clarcona Road, Apopka, died Monday, Aug. 31. Mr. Baker was a retired U.S. Postal Service worker. Born in Miami, he moved to Central Florida in 1942. He was a member of Apopka Assembly of God Church, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 104, American Legion Post 63 and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Survivors include: wife, Myrtice M. Baker, sons, Edwin A. Baker, Jr., Jacksonville, Ronald W. Baker, Okeechobee, John B. Spooner, Taft, daughters, Sharon A. Stiefel, Orange Park, April E. Freelove, Ocoee, Iris M. DeGeus, Longwood. Sister, Bertha E. Strayer, Titusville. 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, Apopka.
