APRIL 19, 1906
Died of consumption at the home of his parents south of Newtonia, on Sunday morning, April 15, 1906, Daniel A. Snyder, age 35 years, 3 months, and 14 days.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Snyder and had been in ill health for a long time. He and his wife and little daughter, Gertrude, returned from the Territory a few months ago; he was so sick then it was feared he could not get her, but revived afterwards, but for the last few weeks had been going down in health. He knew the end was near but had no fear of death.
He united with the Methodist church several years ago and while living in the Territory united with the Holiness church.
He was married to Miss Mary Lester in 1894, who lived but a few years after their marriage. To them was born one daughter. He was married a second time to Miss Annie Edmonds in 1901. Their little son died but a few months ago. His wife and little daughter survive him, as also his father and mother, two brothers and other relatives. His wife and mother are both sick, caused partly through over anxiety.
Funeral services were conducted at the residence and at the cemetery by Rev. W. A. Robinson. Interment in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
