---Services for Mr. Orville Abrams, 78, were held at the Dickerson Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, with Rev. Richard Ginn officiating. Burial was in the Sunset Cemetery in Quincy.
---Mr. Abrams was found dead Sunday, May 21, 1984 at his home in Quincy by his nephew and neighbors. His death probably occurred on Friday.
---He was born in Quincy Oct. 17, 1905, to William and Millie Pancake Abrams. He was a retired state highway employee.
---Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Maggie Fugate of Quincy, and several nieces and nephews.

---We the family of Orville Abrams would like to take this time to express our thanks and deep appreciation for the kindness shown to us during the death of our uncle. Our thanks goes to the Lewis County Ambulance Service and to Rev. Richard Ginn for his kind words of comfort. A special thanks goes to each of the pallbearers, to Dickerson Funeral Home and a "very special" thanks goes to Mr. George Smith and Bob Jorden and is family for all their help. We would also like to thank all our friends and neighbors for their flowers, food and cards. All your kindness and help will always be remembered.
