Pietro was born in San Fele, Italy, and came over to America by himself in 1890. A few years later, his brother Saverio came over, and in 1905, his mother and the rest of his siblings came over. They all lived in Washington DC for the rest of their lives.
Peter, or P.A, as he called himself in the US, was very active in the equal treatment for Italians. He was the president of a secret Italian-American Society.
