Fay Henson Pearson, 82, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2009 while trying to recover from a hip operation. Her heart of gold finally gave out. She resided at 1037 West Fireweed Drive (4500 South) in Taylorsville, Utah at the time of her death.
Mom was born January 5, 1927, the youngest of nine kids to Lionel and Emma Henson. She grew up in Lark, Utah and later graduated from West High in Salt Lake.
She married Don B. Pearson on March 22, 1946 and together raised four children. Fay is survived by three of her children: Robyn (Dave) Salmon, Danna (Pat) Simmons and Brad (Jodi) Pearson. Her husband, Don and youngest son, Wade, precede her in death.
Mom had incredible love for, and offered amazing friendship to, those whose paths she crossed. She loved being with people. Her world revolved around her husband and those of us lucky enough to be her children. She will be sorely missed and a huge void is left for us to endure.
As keeping with Fay's wishes, a viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah, from 10:30 a.m. to Noon.
A Graveside Service will follow at the Lehi City Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
