Mr. Young was formerly a resident of Olla where he had many friends to mourn his passing.
He is survived by three sons, Paul, of Clarks; Charlie Young and Elbert Young of Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. McGee of Jigger.
Pallbearers were Ernest and Burch Foy and Laurence and Ernest Otwell.
The following Monday, April 26th, at 1 P.M., Mr. Young's widow passed away the same place and funeral services were conducted by Rev. Daffin at the Welcome Home cemetery at Grayson on Tuesday.
Both funerals were conducted by the Riser Funeral Home, Columbia.
