Priscilla Alberts was the eleventh child of twelve children born to James Earl Alberts and Phalby Sara Cooper. She like her brothers and sisters grew up on her family's peanut farm. The Alberts' peanuts and peanut brittle was famous in the surrounding communities. On May 16, 1945 she married Gaundy Better. No children were born to this union and the couple divorced in 1947. On May 16, 1948 she married Pete Jorner for the first time. A daughter named Velma was to the couple. They were divorced in 1967. On May 16, 1969 they remarried. On 1971 they were again divorced. On May 16, 1973 she married Oscar Tolbert. They were divorced in 1978. She spent some time living with her brother Henry and his family. Then on May 16, 1985 she married David Davis. She divorced him in 1990. She continued to live in the Austin area. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Earl and Phalby Sara Alberts; her brothers, Fred Odell, James Earl Jr, Chatman, Morty Buster, Dan, Amos, and Henry and her sisters, Mary and Minerva. She is survived by her daughter Velma, her brother Moses and sister Ursula and many neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
