The funeral of George W. Van Dyke, 91, grandfather of ex-Mayor Raymond S. Van Dyke, of Hopewell, who died Monday at his home, on the Harbourton-Glen Moore road, was held this afternoon from the Blackwell Memorial Home, Pennington. Interment was in the Old School Baptist churchyard, here, with the Rev. A. K. Magner, pastor of the Pennington Presbyterian church, officiating.
Husband of the late Mrs. Martha Stryer Van Dyke, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Junior O. U. A. M., No. 73, of Hopewell.
Surviving are two sons, Arthur, with whom he made his home, and Eugene, of Pennington; three daughters, Mrs. Nathaniel Woodward, of Pennington, and Mrs. Edgar Blackwell and Mrs. James Blackell of Hopewell; a brother, John, of Pennington; a sister, Mrs. Howard Sked, of Pennington, 18 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
