Noel served as a 2nd Lt and co-pilot on the "Buzz Wagon" a B-25 (#41-12928) with the 446th Bombardment Squadron, 321st Bombardment Group, 57th Bombardment wing, 12th Air Force, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
He resided in Alameda County, California prior to the war.
He enlisted in the Army on May 21, 1942.
Noel died in the "Line Of Duty" of a non-battle related incident when the "Buzz Wagon" crashed in a "Test Hop" near Ain M'Lila (Tunisia/North Africa) along with the entire crew on board during the war.
