George S Fowles married Leonisa N Barker, dau of Capt Barnabas & Martha Jane (Nickels) Barker, on 16 Nov 1851 in Bath, Sagadahoc, Maine. Together George and Leonisa had three children, Alfred Augustus (1853-1929), Jennie M (1856- )and Lizzie T Fowles (1859-1879).
