DUMAS - Ed W. Gilman, 70, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Morrison Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with Allen Kramer, minister of Sixth & Meredith Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery.

Mr. Gilman was born in Pampa and had lived in Dumas since 1953. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and retired from Exell Helium in 1984. He was a member of Sixth & Meredith Church of Christ.

He married Cassie Meador in 1924 at Clayton, N.M. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Veena Gilman, in 1964.

Survivors include his wife; a son, James E. Gilman of Sanford; two daughters, Yulanda Habekott and Sarah Hernandez, both of Dumas; his mother, Lorine Gilman of Dumas; two sisters, Pat Hoyle of Carlsbad, N.M., and Kay Ardry of Amarillo; and 10 grandchildren.

The family will be at 408 Cedar in Dumas.
