Cambridge, Ohio.,- (Special)-
John cherry, residing three miles North of here, died at home at 8 o'clock Yesterday morning after a long illness with the infirmities of age. The deceased was aged 93 years, and had resided in the vicinity of Cambridge For eight years. His former home was at Norwich, where he spent the greater part of his long life. Since coming to Guernsey he had made a host of friends, and His death is sincerely mourned. He is survived by five sons and three daughters. He was a member of the first U P Church of this city and his pastor, Rev J W Ashwood, will conduct the funeral services at the late residence Friday. Interment will be made at Norwich.
FYI; There are two Presbyterian Cemeteries; One is called Norwich United Presbyterian Cemetery.(Not Methodist)
And the other is called Norwich Presbyterian Cemetery.
John is in buried in Norwich United Presbyterian Cemetery.

James Isaac "John" Cherry (15 May 1814 - 8 Jan 1908 ) he married in 1835 to Mary Ann (Jane?) MOORE Cherry (ABT 1815 - ABT 1853 ) Together they had 4 sons and 1 daughter:
Samuel, Matthew, John, Josiah M., Sarah Elizabeth
After Mary Ann died, John married a second time in 1860, to Mary J. Thompson ( John and Mary Thompson are burried with their daughter Loretta Cherry)
John fathered five more children.
William Boyd., Moses Reid, Loretta Jane, Annie "Anna" Mary, and Thomas A.
