Mrs. James Danford Dies in Noble Co.
CALDWELL-- Mrs. Elpha M. Danford, 63, wife of James Danford, died at her home in Keithtown Sunday evening following two years' illness. She had been seriously ill for the past month.
She was born in Seneca Township, Noble County, a daughter of Silas and Mary A. McLaughlin. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband; two sons, Larkin L. Danford (1902
-1967), of Steubenville, and Edward Coyle Danford (1912-2000), of Columbus; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Danford, of Iowa; two brothers, Ira and Edward McLaughlin, of Dayton, Ohio. One daughter died in infancy (Lillian b. July 14, 1904 d. Nov. 15, 1904 in Morgan Co., OH).
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Keithtown Methodist church with the Rev. George Peoples officiating. Interment was in the Keith Cemetery.
