Charles F. Yost of Ava, died Sunday of an apparent heart attack at the office of Dr. C.E. Harlan
He was a retired carpenter, who moved to Ava 25 years ago from Porterville, California.
He married Emma Margaret Phillips, she died in 1964.
Funeral services will be 10am Wednesday in Clinkingbeard Chapel with Rev. Oscar Cunningham officiating.
Graveside services will be 2:30pm at Lindley Prairie Cemetery at Bear Creek, near Stockton.
He is survived by two sons, Philip of Ava and Charles of Fordland ; 3 brothers, Lloyd of Banning, CA, Paul of Tulaire, CA and Lonnie of Porterville; 2 sisters, Joette West and Ethel Lee of Porterville, CA; 8 grandchilfren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Emma.
