Fred is the son of James Walter Hitchings and Sarah Ann Standall he died in a hospital in Thomas Ky saturday morning of blood poisoning and complications he lived in Huntington W.Va for several years where he was inducted into the Army.
Fred is survived by his mother, wife Mrs Elsie Hitchings and two children of Huntington four children by a previous marriage and two grandchildren, he also leaves five brothers Charles, Ralph, Ernest, Jack and Frank and three sisters Mrs Lewis Miller, Mrs Anna Perry, and Mrs Seville.
The body will be brought to nelsonville.
