Thomas H. DuBOIS, 74, Rt. 2, Macy, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday in Dukes Hospital, Peru, following a week-long illness. He was born Nov. 13, 1909 in Miami County to William R. and Avis I. BRIGGS DuBOIS and was a lifetime area resident. He was married Aug. 13, 1938 in Winamac to Ida W. WAGONER, who died Aug. 10, 1982. He was a retired farmer and employee of Essex Wire, Peru, and attended Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Surviving are six sons, Robert W. [DuBOIS], Akron; Thomas David [DuBOIS], Charlotte, N.C.; Philip M. [DuBOIS], Eugene, Ore.; Donald W. [DuBOIS], Akron, Ohio; Timothy E. [DuBOIS], Chili, and Daniel L. [DuBOIS], Boulder, Colo.; a daughter, Diana K. BURGE, Rt. 1, Macy; thirteen grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Aubrey (Lucretia) HALE, South Bend. Two brothers and three sisters preceded in death. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Lawrence SEE officiating. Burial will be in the Plainview Cemetery, Macy. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, and on Saturday until time of services. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
