WEAVER, Ira David - Ira went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, in his 70th year. Much loved husband of Stella (Wiebe) Weaver, whom he married on August 27, 1955. Loving father of Barbara (Mallory) Zupko of Elmira, Bruce Weaver of Thunder Bay, Sharon (Ivor) Lowe of Niagara Falls and Scott (Ginger) Weaver of Mono Mills; loving grandfather of Karen (Jeff) Gruneburg, Heather Steffler, Daniel (Diana) Steffler, Megan Lowe, Kyle Lowe and Jordan Weaver; special great grandfather of Brian, Katie, Lexie and Daniel. Ira also leaves behind sisters Ruth (Eli) Burkhart of Floradale and Reta (Frank) Weber of Elmira and brother Roy Weaver of Kitchener. Ira will be missed by his special nephews Rod Weaver and Dan Burkhart as well as many other nieces and nephews and many Wiebe relatives in Manitoba. He was predeceased by three children in infancy, his parents Wesley and Valetta Weaver, sisters Ruby Weaver and Irene Martin and brother Witherow Weaver. Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Listowel Bible Chapel, 545 Blake St. E., Listowel on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Robertson officiating.
