Mass of Christian Burial was Nov. 4 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, with Father Gerald Dalseth officiating. Burial was in the St. Michael's Parish Cemetery.
Florence "Tina" Kappes was born Dec. 18, 1919, in Pierz, MN, to the late Joseph and Ida (Marslek) Krych. She lived most of her life in Little Falls, MN. Florence married Burkhard Kappes June 17, 1944 in Buckman, MN. She worked at Munsingwear in Little Falls.
Survivors include seven children, Tom Kappes and wife Carol, Terry Kappes and wife Mary, Diana Peka and husband Ernie, Mitzi Vichorek, Joyce Packard, Martin Kappes and wife Valerie and Merl Urness and husband Terry; brother, Joe Krych, and a sister Helen Przybilla; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Burkhard; parents, and a grandson, Paul.
Casketbearers were Todd Kappes, Jeremy Kappes, Jory Urness, Chad Peka, Scott Kappes and Greg Kappes.
