Donald Dean Beechum was born August 2, 1927 to Theodore and Geraldine Lindsey-Beechum in Paola, Kansas. Donald Dean attended school in Olathe, Kansas. In the year 1946 he was drafted in the U.S. Army after remaining in Leavenworth for two weeks for a physical checkup he returned home, later his health began to fail, during his illness he often spoke to his mother of having felt a change and began living as a Christian.
He was surived by his mother and father, Theodore Sr. and Geraldine Beechum, two brothers, all of Olathe, Kansas. Grandmother, Mrs. Eva Lindsey, of Paola, Kansas and a host of aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
