News-Register, McMinnville, Oregon, April 1, 2009

Graveside services for former McMinnville resident Dorothy Druliner of Albany will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in McMinnville. The Rev. Jim Peterson will officiate. Viewing will be from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, April 3, in the chapel of Macy & Son.

Mrs. Druliner died Monday, March 30, 2009, at the Albany Mennonite Home. She was 98.

She was born April 29, 1910, in Myrtle Point, the daughter of William Thomas and Perthena (Parry) Warner. She grew up on a dairy farm in Myrtle Point and attended a one-room country school through grade eight. She graduated from Myrtle Point High School in 1929.

She married Duward Druliner in 1930 in Myrtle Point where the couple lived until they moved to McMinnville in 1945. In 1989, she relocated to Jefferson.

Along with being a homemaker, she worked for 25 years as a practical nurse in local hospitals and nursing homes. Her family said she enjoyed reminiscing about her youth, growing up on the dairy farm with her six brothers and she was lovingly adored by all her family. She enjoyed gardening and grew beautiful flowers. Being with her family and trips to the coast were among her favorite activities.

Survivors include her son, Larry Druliner of McMinnville; two daughters, Dorothy Marie Kreder of Jefferson and Ann Barnes of McMinnville; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Wayne; and her six brothers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Albany Mennonite Village, care of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, 135 N.E. Evans St., McMinnville, OR 97128.
