Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Morey, a son Darwin Desmond, and two granddaughters, Mrs. John (Bessie) Herring and Miss Eva Desmond, all of Rochester; two sisters, Mrs. Edmund A.(Addie) Foster of North Rose and Mrs. Judson (Mary) Goodsell of Victory, and five brothers, Walter and Edwin Bowman of Michigan, Byron Bowman of Washington state, Elmer Bowman of Clyde and George Bowman of North Rose. Her husband, John Desmond, died a number of years ago. They were married in 1863.
The funeral was held from the home at 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. J.H. Britten officiating. Interment in the Rose Cemetery.
