Billy Joe Helton, 70, of Greeneville, died Saturday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
He was a son of the late L.T. and Lizzie Helton.
Survivors include one daughter: Niki Helton of Greeneville; one sister: Norma Betty Gray of Cape Cod, Mass.; three nieces: Susan Harding, Nancy Helton, and Shirley Bennett; two nephews: Bud Bennett and Gregg Bennett; and a great- nephew: Timothy Helton.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald "Slim" Helton.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. today at Jeffers Mortuary.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the mortuary chapel with interment to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ray Jones, Hugh Allen Jones, David Munsey, Richard Wardrep, and Blain Wardrep.
