Her mother, Anna Lorenzen Sonnabend, died in Nebraska about 1870. Her father brought her back to Wisconsin with her sister Anna to be brought up by their grandmother Mrs Henry Tagge.

Mrs. Eichmeier Dies On Saturday After An Illness
Kiel—(Special)—Mrs. Tina Eichmeier, 73, widow of the late Wiliam Eichmeier, passed away at 8 p.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas hospital in Sheboygan, where she had been a patient since May 29.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Sonnabend, she was born Oct. 24, 1866, in the town of Schleswig. She was married in 1885 and the couple lived in the town of Schleswig, and then Hayton and New Holstein. After her husband's death, she made her home with her son, Harry, for 22 years. For the past 12 years the home has been on a farm in the town of Russell.
Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Henry (Minnie) Stueven of Kiel, Mrs. Hubert (Ida)Greve of Elkhart Lake, Mrs. Edgar (Adela) Schaefer, of Brothertown, Mrs. Thomas (Violet) Ranguette, of Milwaukee; two sons, Herman of Chilton and Harry, town of Russell. Eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive her.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, with burial in the New Holstein city cemetery. The Rev. E. L. Worthmann of St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed church will officiate.
