Charles W. Chambers was my maternal g uncle. He died of Typhoid Fever at the age of 14 while living in an orphange in Mercer, Pa. His father, Theophilus C. He survived nearly a year at Andersonville POW prison (he also had a life long disability from a gun shot wound to his left thigh).
