George B. Atkinson passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Daisy Queen,989 Jefferson avenue, Sunday. He was born in Vinton county, November 24th 1847 and is survived by five daughters and one son, Mrs. Lucy Case, of Richmond Dale; Mrs Ella Wills and Mrs. Daisy Queen, of this city; Mrs. Anna Williams of Condit, and Mrs Iva Oakes, of Muskogee, Okla; and P. C. Atkinson of Gillespieville. Funeral services will be held at the Boblett church near Gillespieville, Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. George Arganbright officiating, and the body will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemeter

George Taylor Atkinson, son of George and Avandina B. Atkinson, was born at Richland Furnace, Vinton county, Ohio, November 24, 1847 and passed away at the home of his daughter Mrs. Daisy Queen, March 11, 1928, aged 80 years, 3 months, 17 days. In 1869 he was united in marriage to Christina Kathryn Huffman. To this union were born three sons and five daughters. His wife and two sons have preceded him the the great beyond. Those left to mourn his loss are Mrs. Lucy Case of Richmond Dale, O., Mrs Ella Wills and Mrs. Daisy Queen of Chillicothe, O., Mrs Anna Williams of Condit, O., Mrs Iva Oakes, Muskogee, Okla., Pleasant Atkinson of Gillespieville, O., one brother Franklin Atkinson of Brewster, O, Twelve grand children and six great grandchildren. He united with the Church of Christ at Rey, O., a few years ago and one of his last words was that he wanted to go to sleep, "To sleep in Jesus." He was laid to rest in Boblett Cemetery. Rev. Geo. Arganbright and Duffy officiating.

FUNERAL OF G. T. ATKINSON
The funeral of George T. Atkinson, who passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Daisy Queen, 989 Jefferson avenue, Sunday, has been changed from Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, to Wednesday afternoon, at 1 o'clock. The funeral will be held at Boblett church, near Gillespieville, the Rev. George Arganbright officiating, and the body will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
