Mrs. Rose H. Bertrand O'Driscoll of 31 Savage St., wife of Dr. William Cyril O'Driscoll, who is professor Emeritus of Anatomy at the Medical College of South Carolina, died yesterday at a local hospital.
Funeral services will take place today at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist at noon with the Rev. louis F. Sterker officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence cemetery, McAlister's announced.
Pallbearers will be Victor B. O'Driscoll, Victor B. O'Driscoll, Jr., Robert B. Graman, Vincent DePaul, Daniel H. Jones and Morgan E. Hewitt. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Melvin H. Knisley, Dr. J. Manly Stallworth, Dr. McKensie P. Moore and Dr. Robert Walton.
Mrs. O'Driscoll was born in Burlington, VT, a daughter of Francis C. Bertrand and Mrs. Ann Provost Bertrand. She was a member of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and its Senior Sodality. Mrs. O'driscoll was a 1912 graduate of St. Francis xavier Hospital School of Nursing.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, W. Cyril O'Driscoll; two sisters, Mrs. E. Julius Cappelmann and Mrs. Robert B. Graman, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
