Telitha was victim of the flu epidemic and succumbed 11 October 1883 in Boaz, Marshall County, Alabama. She and her father were buried on private property near Beulah Church where they had church meetings before the church was built.

Tobie and Drucilla were parents to eleven children; Sarah Eugenia Cantrell, Mattie Cantrell, Prattie Kitten Cantrell, Roxy Myrtle Cantrell, Melven Cantrell, Wiley Harrison Cantrell, Maude Elizabeth Cantrell, Hattie Modell Cantrell, Buena Vista Cantrell, Hassie Lee Cantrell, and Hulett Welmer Cantrell.
Tobie died 29 April 1934 in Joppa, Cullman County, Alabama at age 72. He is buried in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Arab, Marshall County, Alabama.
